What is Pitch?

What is Pitch, and why is it important?

Pitch, quite simply, is the distance between the individual modules in your channel letters and lightboxes. It’s measured from centre to centre between the modules (usually in millimetres), and is made up of 2 distances, the X axis and Y axis.

X Axis = The distance between the individual LEDs (measured centre to centre)
Y Axis = The distance between the rows

Pitch is mostly determined by the light space in your sign, which is why this measurement is so important. Using the incorrect pitch will result in hotspots in your sign.
