What is a Face-lit sign? ⚡️
A face-lit sign, also often referred to as front-lit, is an effect where the main light source shines through the front of the lightbox channel letter, creating a highly visible illuminated aesthetic.
Face lit signs have a translucent diffuser panel, often made of acrylic panel, flexface fabric with vinyl, or digital printed film.
Face lit is a great option when the legibility of your signage is important.
We have a huge range of LEDs suitable for creating face-lit signs and channel letters, including our Signature Series, our Cobra strip light, and our 24v Cabinet Series.
For even more options, check out our huge range of signage modules here.
If you are unsure where to start, start with Bounce Wizard, our online LED layout tool. Bounce Wizard automatically calculates the best module for the job, and positions the modules in a way that ensures bright, even lighting, every time – taking the guess workout out of your LED signs.
Check out our YouTube video below, where we look at how you can create four different channel letter effects, including face-lit, face and side-lit, side-only illumination and halo effect – all using the Bounce LED Cobra.
