Installation guide

Measure and cut COB strip to required length. SupaCOB Premium RGBW is cuttable every 62.5mm.

If required, select appropriate connector:

Insert COB strip(s) into the plastic connector slot(s) ensuring the correct polarities are aligned: Positive (+) to Positive (+), Red (-) to Red (-), Green (-) to Green (-), Blue (-) to Blue (-) and White (-) to White (-)

Once COB strip is inserted, use flat pliers to compress metal connectors into the plastic connector. When completed correctly, metal should sit flush in the plastic connector. (Test power connection before installation.)

Remove the d/s tape paper backing and install into Superchannel or intended surface. Ensure COB strip is stuck down flat and firmly.

Connect to appropriate RGBW Controller and transformer.

Follow these steps on how to install the SupaCOB Premium RGBWW 24V LED strip light.

  1. Cut the LED strip to your required size, ensuring to only cut at marked intervals. Do not exceed the maximum series length to avoid voltage drop.
  2. Solder connecting ‘wire tails’ to terminals for connection to power supply, or to ‘bridging wire’ for linking strips together. Always ensure positive-to-positive and negative-to-negative connection.
  3. Apply glue to the inside of the end cap, then push the cap onto the LED strip, ensuring to wipe away any excess glue.
  4. Use the end cap with holes to seal your wire tail end. Wait for all the glue to dry before powering on.
  5. Ensure your application area is clean and free of debris, remove the adhesive liner from the back of the SupaCOB strip and press into place.
  6. Connect to a suitable power supply, and dimmer/controller if required, and test.
  7. You can install the SupaCOB Premium RGBWW LED strip light in a continuous run for up to 5m. Always check the max series to avoid a voltage drop.
